The St Bernard region

Swiss enchanting wilderness that reflects alpine scenery majestically.

Country of mountains, of refined tastes, powerful and delicious as the local products.

A region where nature rules, protected and admired for the best mountain holidays.

Authentic mountain moments, with your family, friends and colleagues.

Off the beaten track. Often, you’ll be far away from the main tourist areas.

This trip will take you to stunning and less-known resorts outside the usual tourist path.

WSA deliberately takes you to places where you can be with nature and enjoy the lack of crowds.

From your base hotel in the valley, spend a week freeriding from small resorts lifts which give you access to huge hardly touched freeride areas.

You will be riding mountains not far from the famous Verbier world freeride tour. Or maybe you just want to ski the pistes, the scenery and views are just as fantastic.

You will visit one different resort a day, including a day in the Aoste valley, Italy.

Avalanche Risks and safety

Avalanche danger in mountains is always present.

The multiple snow & weather conditions that make areas prone to avalanches are not fully comprehended but are recognizable.

We have years of experience at recognizing areas and snow conditions that are a high avalanche hazard to avoid them.

We will make sure that everyone has the adequate gear on the first day and check that everyone knows how to use it.

We will provide you with a tutorial on this topic, if we feel this is necessary or if you wish.

Thought you must accept all the risks that come with skiing remote and uncontrolled areas.

The correct mountain attitude is of essence.

Rescue Evacuation Procedure

We do our very best to not encounter such a situation.

By being professional at all times, by having very small groups with a ratio of max.5 pers. to one guide, allowing our guests to ski safely

in there comfort zone.

In the event of an accident that can not reasonably be evacuated by the resort’s ski patrol and ambulance.

WSA will contact mountain rescue to evacuate the victim by helicopter, Rega or Air glaciers to the local hospital in Lausanne or Sion.
