WSA creates and organizes adventures but also serves as an intermediary in partner packages.
Legal suff
World Ski Adventures is an independant Swiss registered company name under the number Bruce Boult IDE-CHE 198.226.522.
It’s professional issurance policy number is 4.564.456 at AXA, with a 10 000 000 chf coverage.
Bruce Boult holds a Swiss Brevet fédéral de Maitre de sports de neige, this allows him to legally and commercially practice the following activities:
Ski & Snowboard instructor/ resort guide / Freeride guide / Mountain Touring guide. Avalanche safety and mountain awarness courses.
All instructors and guides mandated by WSA will have the equivalent qualifications and insurances or more.

General terms and conditions (GTC)
Please read the terms and conditions attentively.
Information for bookings
Legal age for bookings is 18 years old.
Your booking is acknowledged as valid by WSA after the receipt of your returned signed quote accompanied by your deposit payement,
this concludes the contract between us or any of WSA’s mandated guides.
The present GTC are part of this contract and are accepted by your signed quote.
Your booking mail and your acceptance of WSA’s GTC, will be the main components of the contract between you the client and WSA.
Bookings for WSA’s offers are only definite upon receipt of your full payement.
Payment policy for WSA products
This section is for products created and developed solely by WSA
– For short services and packages (up to three days)
A deposit of 30% of total price is required for a valid booking.
It can to be payed anytime up to one month before the first day of your adventure with WSA.
The remainder is payed in cash to the guide at the start of your adventure. If you book within a month from departure, full payement is required.
– For long packages and sevices that last more than three days
A deposit of 40 % of total price can be payed up to 2 months prior to your departure with WSA,
the balance (60%) is due, at the latest one month before the beginning of the adventure or service.
All payements for services or packages that last more than three days will be made by bank transfers only
for the deposit and the full payement.
All payments are made out to WSA, please use bank details on your quote or invoice email.
Please use the reference numbers when you make your deposit or full payment.
Non respect of deadlines for payements could result in WSA withdrawing from the contract with no obligations.
After your full payement a bill can be delivered to you on demand.
Cancellation policy for WSA products
If WSA has to cancel an adventure or service, all payments that you have made will be a 100% returned to you.
If you wish or have to cancel, you need to inform WSA by email.
If you are cancelling a short service or adventure (no more than 3 days)
- more than one month before the trip, all payment will be returned to you.
- more than 3 weeks before the adventure, 60% of your deposit will be refunded
- more than 2 weeks before the adventure, 40% of your deposit will be refunded
- more than one week before the adventure, 20% of your deposit will be refunded
- less than a week to the start of your adventure, no deposit will be refunded.
If you are cancelling a long service or adventure ( more than 3 days)
- more than two months month before the trip, all payment will be returned to you
- more than 6 weeks before the adventure, 60% of your deposit will be refunded
- more than 5 weeks before the adventure, 40% of your deposit will be refunded
- more than 4 weeks before the adventure, 10% of your deposit will be refunded
- less than 4 weeks to the start of your adventure, no deposit will be refunded
It is also your responsibility to ensure that you have a cancellation insurance.
Payement policy for WSA partner package products
These two short paragraph are for products born from a partnership between WSA and its partner companies
Legally WSA in partner products acts only as an intermiediary between the partner company and the client.
Wsa’s partner companies all have different terms and conditions for booking and payement policies.
These partner companies terms and conditions will be sent to you by WSA with your booking quote.
Please read the partner package’s Terms and conditions attentively, you will need to accept them upon booking with WSA.
Payement for partner package products will be made out to WSA.
Cancellation policy for WSA partener package products
As above, cancellation policies for partner package products can be found in there terms and conditions sent to you with your booking quote.
Program and price modifications
WSA has the right, at all times, to change the programming and the pricing of its services and packages.
We try to inform you as soon as possible of any program changes.
During your adventure changes can be necessary due to weather, safety reasons, delayed transportation or different countries authorities.
Guests understand that such changes can occur on an adventure.
WSA is authorized in such conditions to offer a similar service or adventure in the same area or region, the contract is in this case accepted as fulfilled.
Price changes can occur due to package costs rising, if this exceeds 10% of total cost advertised at the time of your booking, you have the right to revoke our contract with no fees within 7 days of receiving our notification by mail. If this is the case, WSA will refund you within 30 days the totality of your accounted payments.
Or you could also book another WSA adventure.
The prices on WSA website are determinant only at the time of your booking.
Interrupting your service or package
In the event of you interrupting your service or package with WSA, there will be no refund.
WSA will help you as best as it can to organize your premature departure.
If WSA has to interrupt its service or package, whatever unused expenses such as hotel nights, food, guides fees, etc… will be refunded to you.
Privacy Policy
All the information and private data collected via email communications and bookings,
will be used only to communicate with its owner and with its partner companies.
It will never be given or sold for commercial purposes or disclosed in any other way.
Insurances
There are no insurances included in any of our products.
WSA’s professional insurances are in no case substitute to your own personal insurances.
You are responsible for purchasing your own insurance that covers you for accidents, illnesses, cancellations, heli rescue with no altitude limit, medical repatriation, for all mountain activities and countries concerned by the adventure or service you choose.
Requested conditions for participation and exclusion policy
A general good health is requested of you.
It is of your duty to mention, when you book with us, any health conditions or allergies you may have and any medication you may be taking .
You need to listen to the WSA or mandated guides directives about safety, the guides reserve the right to exclude anyone not respecting there directives by endangering themselves or/and others.
WSA or mandated guides reserve the right to exclude anyone who does not conduct himself in a civil manner.
In case of an exclusion for the above reasons there will be no refund of any kind.
Arrival at the meeting point is your responsablity, this is where the contract between us starts.
Services/ Packages pricing
For every WSA proposed activity the pricing is described clearly for each product on the WSA website.
Prices can be subject to change.
WSA reserves the right to change its pricing at all times even after a booking payment.
If the price change exceeds 10% of total cost then you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund or book another WSA product.
Minimum number of participants
For certain packages a minimum of persons is required to operate. This will clearly be notified in the package summary.
If for any reason this quota is not reached, WSA can cancel at any time, even after the booking deadline but at the latest 10 days before the start date.
All clients costs will be refunded, but no other claims will be taken into account.
Or you could book another adventure with WSA.
WSA and mandated guide’s responsibilities
WSA and mandated guides cannot guarantee 100% safety facing all the potential dangers encountered in mountainous areas.
The guests must accept risks imposed by nature that remain despite professional guiding/tuition.
WSA is not responsible in any way for accidents that might happen to you outside of WSA’s professional activity.
WSA attests that any mandated guide we use is a fully certified professional with full professional insurance.
When WSA uses a mandated guide, WSA only has an administrative responsibility to you.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law is applicable here.
For any actions in law, the statuary seat of World ski adventures is in Geneva, Switzerland.
The Geneva tribunal is its legal base and its “FOR” juridique.
The contract between you and WSA is solely governed by Swiss law.
Law actions against Bruce Boult World Ski Adventures is possible only at the location of the WSA seat.
For any actions in law against mandated guides will take place at there place of residence.
Visas
It is of your sole responsibility to ensure that you have all the adequate paperwork when departing to any of the destinations you choose to go with WSA. WSA is not responsible for a refusal of entry due to you not observing the above.
Complaints
In case of a complaint on your behalf, your email will have to reach WSA at the latest 2 weeks after you return from your adventure with us.
