Villars sur Ollon will be your base for the week. When you ski Villars you are also linked to the other ski areas of Gryon and les Diablerets. Offering you a vast ski area for all levels to be enjoyed.
Explore Glacier 3000 and other close by resorts such as Les Crozets, Leysin, Les Marécottes, Ovronnaz, Bruson or Verbier.
Villars is placed on a beautifull plateau at 1300m, facing south with amazing views, even the Mont Blanc can be spotted. Boasting an ice skating ring, a spa & baths, a bowling alley and games, sledging…….and so much more.
Freeride and touring can also be enjoyed. These mountains offers many off piste lines from beginners to experts.
Villars is one of the most accessible Swiss resorts from Geneva airport.
Arrival Day
Meeting point is at your hotel. Arrival in Villars anytime between 4pm and 7pm.
Settle into your room. Evening meal.
Rest
Day 1 to 6
Breakfast. Meet outside ready to start around 8.30am.
For resort skiing, freeriding or touring
Two days home skiing
A day adventure at Glacier 3000.
And three days exploring close by resorts.
Return to the hotel around 5 pm. There are many activities to enjoy in the resort village.
Evening meal and rest.

Breakfast, end of program and check out by 11am.

In general a good physical health is needed, as you will be active at varying altitudes.
Please mention any health conditions, any allergies or serious medication you may be taking when you book with us.
For freeride and touring – Avalanche Risks and safety
Avalanche danger in mountains is always present.
WSA guides have years of experience at recognizing areas and snow conditions that are a high avalanche hazard as to avoid them.
We will make sure that everyone has the adequate gear on the first day and check that everyone knows how to use it.
We will provide you with a tutorial on this topic.
Thought you must accept all the risks that come with skiing remote and uncontrolled areas.
The correct mountain attitude is of essence.
On piste ski gear
Bring your own gear. if not you can rent from Villars many shops. WSA and shop can advise you on the choice of your gear.
Ski/Snowboard freeride gear
We advise you to use suitable gear:
- Skis : wide powder skis minimum 100mm width, mounted with touring bindings, adjustable poles, skins and snow knives.
- Snowboard : split board with compatible bindings, telescopic poles, skins and snow knives or a normal board with snow shoes.

Freeride or touring equipement
- First aid box (with: Compeed plasters for rubbing, sports tape etc) safety blanket
- Thin gloves, thicker gloves
- Two hats
- Thermo underwear and socks
- Helmet and goggles
- Sunglasses and high factor sunscreen
- Thin fleece jacket
- Thin down jacket for cold days and rest breaks on the summits
- Shell pants and jacket (wind and waterproof)
- Small thermos for coffee, tea and hot water etc.
- 2 water bottles of 1 – 1 1/2 litre
